Catherine works at Lourdes Hill College, Queensland. After attending a workshop hosted by Caritas she and her students came back to school motivated and ready to Be More.

She has now set a number of her challenges with a particular emphasis on environmental action.

Now that Catherine has set her challenges she feels more aware of what she does and how she acts. “When I stopped and really thought about things I realized I could actually do a lot. I could Be More.”

The Be More Weekend (7-9 August 2009) is a chance to re-imagine life, to spend time with family and friends, remind yourself what is valuable and to take action for environmental and social justice.

The weekend is a grassroots, community based event - so whether you participate as a family, school group, parish group or community group the weekend is open to your creativity, initiative and enthusiasm. Participate in the weekend as part of your family or local challenge!
