Blueprint for a Better World is a travelling multimedia exhibition that gives a practical face to the eight Millennium Development Goals. Featuring videos, photographs, visual installations as well as contributions (such as HIV/AIDS posters, baskets, school books and readers) from Caritas partner communities each of the eight MDGs are presented as a blueprint for positive social change.

The Green Earth Festival is a free, family orientated, community event which aims to stimulate awareness by bringing environmental, green, health and lifestyle, cruelty-free, recycling and sustainable issues into the public eye; and encouraging people to make simple changes in their everyday lives to help our environment and the world we leave for generations to come. World Water Day 2010
UN-Water has chosen Clean Water for a Healthy World as theme for World Water Day 2010. The overall goal of the World Water Day on 22 March 2010 campaign is to raise the profile of water quality at the political level so that water quality considerations are made alongside those of water quantity.
When: 22 March
Gather at this spectacular vantage point of Sydney's Harbour to meditate, pray, dance and share hope and aspirations for a more sustainable future. The evening will run from 7:30 to 9:30pm at Observatory Hill, The Rocks, Sydney. It is free and all are welcome. Call Greg O'Donnell for details (02 8239 6299).

Be More Weekend 2010
The Be More Weekend is an opportunity for you, your family, school, parish and community to come together in solidarity:
To be just … conscious that our actions impact on all members of the global community;
To be green ... knowing that we are stewards of creation;
To be more … by making simple changes to everyday lives.
Last year over 7000 Australians participated in the Be More Weekend for three days of community action and fun. This year the theme of “Be Just, Be Green, Be More” has a special focus on water conservation and sanitation.
