Alexia dreams of a “school, country and world living with a desire to ‘Be More’ not have more.” This dream has motivated her to sign-up to the Be More website, set her challenges and begin to Be More in herself.

Starting with herself, Alexia set goals focused on growing personally, believing that these will have a positive impact on those around her. “I feel and hope that by completing my challenges I will ‘Be More’ as a person, but more importantly ‘Be More’ to those around me.”

Alexia was initially motivated to start the challenge after hearing Oscar Romero’s quote “Aspire not to have more, but to be more.” The concept of being rather then having has stuck in her head and her heart. “Many people in our world don’t have the option of having more. When I think ‘this is too hard’, I think of those who have nothing to give up. When I see the latest music gizmo and I think ‘I really want that’ I now realize that I actually don’t need it.”
