Three Days, Three Actions

The Be More Weekend is designed to be a grassroots, community-based event, this year the theme is water. By taking three simple actions over three days together we can work towards conserving water in Australia and raising awareness on the global issue of access to clean water.

Step one: Organise your group and register

Approach people in your community who are passionate, creative and eager to create a just world. Tap into local community groups like youth groups, schools, clubs and your parish and register.
  
Step two: Plan your three days

Choose one action that you and your community can do each day:

Personal
Water Fast: 20 litres for the day
Water Audit: home or school
Back to Tap: educate yourself on the issues of bottled water

Community
Walk for Water: Take the Caritas K’s challenge
Be Green: clean up local waterways
Be Water Smart: spread the water conservation message

Advocacy
Be Creative Challenge: use your imagination to educate others
Be Local Action: improve your neighbourhood
Be a Voice:  for those who don’t have access to clean drinking water
